You Can Help Vulnerable Children Across Africa
Amitofo Care Center aims to help break the cycle of poverty for vulnerable children in Africa. Donor funds are directly channelled into improving the lives for parentless children by offering a safe and friendly environment with shelter, healthy food, quality education, clean drinking water, and medical support. These children will be with us from kindergarten right up to Year 12, developing relevant life skills and being part of a nurturing, supportive community.
Your funds help foster the conditions necessary for these children to have the opportunities for a better future. It goes beyond just buying them books or providing them food and water; it’s about building the proper infrastructure for constant access to food, water, sanitation, and education. It’s about ensuring they have the right educators and carers to provide them a wholesome and positive environment to spend their developing years in. We strive to give them access
Providing Necessary Services so Individuals Have Access to Basic Human Rights
At Amitofo Care Center, we not only provide support to children who have lost their parents; we also provide full support to children from families who don’t have the funds and resources to support them. We organise a number of social programs with the objective to relieve hunger, poverty, and abuse. Our programs help provide school uniforms, books, clothing, school fee support, medical facilities, and equipment to those who need it.
We want to work not just with the children, but also with the community around them for a holistic development. For further information on our work with these communities, feel free to get in touch with the team at Amitofo Care Center.
Educating the Children of Today for a Better Tomorrow
At each of our campuses, ACC sets up Yuan Tong School — an international school that follows the frameworks and guidelines for primary/secondary school curriculum established by the local Department of Education, whilst also incorporating elements of eastern and western education.
It is important to us that these children maintain their identity and culture by learning and preserving their native language, knowledge, and culture. However, we also give them the opportunity to be competitive in today’s world by teaching them English and Mandarin subjects to help broaden their skills and understanding.
Graduate students attend universities in Africa and around the world to study in fields that can help their home nations to improve the quality of life.

Building Centers for All Children Who Need a Safe Space
Our internationally reputable care centers and international boarding schools provide a complete living ecosystem for children at risk and without homes. We build these spaces so that they have the opportunity to grow and appreciate the beauty of life in a safe and globally diverse cultural environment.
We currently have seven centers in different countries across Africa, and hope that with the generous help of benefactors we can start expanding our footprint in other countries. We want to be able to provide these opportunities and support for all children across Africa who are living in vulnerable and poverty-stricken situations. Donations go into the building and maintenance of infrastructures: shelters, schools, efficient sanitation, libraries, and vocational training facilities, as well as ensuring the right staff is there to help with the children’s wellbeing.
